TOM COLICCHIO

Restaurateur

Tom Colicchio made his New York cooking début at such prominent restaurants as the Quilted Giraffe, Gotham Bar & Grill, Rakel, and Mondrian. He opened Gramercy Tavern with Danny Meyer in 1994, following that critical and popular success with the equally well-received Craft in 2001. Colicchio has expanded the Craft restaurant family to include Craftsteaks, Craftbars, and ’wichcraft sandwich shops around the country, and he has recently opened Colicchio & Sons in New York. He is also the author of three cookbooks and the winner of four James Beard Foundation medals. Since 2006, he has appeared as the head judge on Bravo’s hit reality cooking series, Top Chef, for which he earned his first Emmy in 2010.

SISHA ORTÚZAR

Chef/Partner

Sisha Ortúzar grew up in Santiago, Chile, and has been cooking in New York City since 1996. His collaboration with Tom Colicchio began in 1997 at the acclaimed Gramercy Tavern. When Tom moved on to found Craft, Sisha joined his team and played a critical role in the growth of the Craft Restaurant Group. In 2003, Sisha created the ’wichcraft concept and has since served as chef and creative director, building on his original vision of serving hand-crafted food in unexpected flavor combinations. He also co-authored the cookbook ’Craft a Sandwich into a Meal–And a Meal into a Sandwich. At Riverpark, Sisha combines his inventive and skillful treatment of high-quality market ingredients with New York City's international influences.

BRYAN HUNT

Executive Chef

Bryan was raised in Tennessee and moved to New York in 1998 to attend the Culinary Institute of America. At the age of 20, Bryan had his first trail at Gramercy Tavern, which opened the doors to the world of fine dining. It was during his externship there that he first encountered acclaimed chefs Jonathan Benno, Marco Canora and Sisha Ortúzar. These three chefs would eventually help shape Bryan's culinary career, as he would work with each of them again – with Jonathan at Per Se, as Chef de Cuisine for Marco at Insieme, and now Sisha at Riverpark.

GEOFFREY KOO

Pastry Chef

A native New Yorker, Geoff grew up in Somers and pursued a career in finance before attending the Institute of Culinary Education to study pastry arts. In finding his inspiration to become a chef, Geoff credits his sister for taking him to restaurants such as wd-50, Jean-Georges, Eleven Madison Park, and Gramercy Tavern, where he was introduced to fine dining. Before joining Riverpark, Geoff led the pastry team at PRINT and worked at Per Se, Jean-Georges, Café Gray, and Sullivan Street Bakery before that. He draws inspiration for our menus from the market, Riverpark Farm, and childhood baking memories with his mom.
